Hi, my name is Pia. I am a self-shooter/filmmaker, fighter and geek.
When I decided to go freelance and follow my passion, some might have thought I was mad. Maybe I am?
In today’s world, you have to be a little crazy, and to me normal is boring anyway. Start small, think big. My biggest weakness is my perfectionism but paradoxically it might also be one of my biggest strengths. It helps me stand out and makes me unique, not just as a filmmaker but as an individual - and as such I have high aspirations.
My passion for filmmaking stems from my interest in non-mainstream films and the desire to tell stories that offer an alternative perspective on the reality we live in. Film is a powerful tool to engage people and open up conversations. It can greatly increase visibility and understanding of issues that otherwise would remain uncovered. I am fascinated by the capacity of film and the impact it can have on an audience and on society in general.
I particularly enjoy making films that inspire thought. My all-time favourite is "Memento."
I strive for excellence in every aspect of my work and thrive in creative and challenging environments.
My interests include travelling and screenwriting.
Some of the projects Pia worked on include the IFTA-nominated short film "SLR," a travel show for UKTV channel Dave as well as numerous live events and corporate videos for a variety of well-known clients.
The FX6 joins the FX9 (successor of the popular FS7) and the VENICE camera in Sony’s professional digital cinema line-up. It is one of the best compact cinema cameras and can be used as both a cinema-style and run-and-gun ENG camera, making it ideal for a wide range of shooting situations.
The Sony A1 is the ultimate hybrid camera, ideal for both photo and video applications.
For multi-camera setups, the camera can be paired with the FX6 and Sony a7s III.
Or combine with a compact motorised slider or gimbal – for smooth camera movements.

A camera is only as good as its lens - and the person behind it, of course. To create stunning images, choosing the right lens is essential:
